Study: Consumers will trade information for targeted ads

Our friends at Parks Associates have just released a market research study on American attitudes toward targeted Internet advertising.

According to this report, approximately half of U.S. households with broadband service answered “Yes” or “Maybe” when asked if they would be “willing to provide personal information in exchange for relevant Internet ads.”
