California utilities’ smart grid plans will be graded by Environmental Defense Fund

This week the Environmental Defense Fund (EDF) announced that it will grade California utilities’ smart grid plans — the first of which was just issued by San Diego Gas & Electric.

By law, these plans must be filed by the state’s three largest utilities by July 1; EDF plans to score them in mid-to-late July.
