Don’t opt out of smart meters, Environmental Defense Fund says

Last week, PG&E filed a proposal with the California Public Utilities Commission to give customers the option of having the radio in their smart meters turned off.

As SmartGridWatch noted earlier, opting out of smart meters is bad public policy, though perhaps a reasonable alternative for persons with extreme fears about radio frequency emissions.
